Purpose of the Upgrade
The UI of the Digital Elevation Tool has been enhanced to support the following strategic goals:
Improved Accessibility: Ensuring the tool is usable by all individuals, including those with diverse needs.
Clearer Navigation: Streamlined user journeys for quicker and more intuitive interactions.
Long-Term Sustainability: Future-proofing the tool for ongoing development and sector relevance.
Customer-Requested Features: Delivering enhancements based on direct feedback from users.
Key Features & Benefits
Every validation statement now has its own unique URL
Users can now share specific validation statements to improve collaboration. You can now Share a specific statement with colleagues by sending its unique link. They'll be taken straight to the exact point in the assessment that you would like their input on.
Simplified User Journey & Modern Navigation
The interface has been redesigned with a cleaner, more intuitive layout, making it easier for users to find what they need quickly. All fonts and colours are in line with the updated Jisc recommendations.
Focused Assessment Views
Users can now concentrate on a specific area and levels (Foundation, Transform, or Elevate) for a more targeted experience that allows them to hone into important topics.
Contextual Goal Visibility
Goals are now displayed alongside validation statements, offering richer context and helping users understand the importance of each change.
Level-Specific Results View
Assessment results are now presented in a level-specific format, making it easier to focus on the level that is relevant to your organisation.
Status-Based Filtering on Results.
You can filter results by status (e.g., In Progress), allowing for a clearer overview of outstanding actions.
Enhanced Bookmarking Functionality
Bookmarked validation statements can now be revisited directly from the bookmarks page, enabling you to quickly update or refine their responses.
Reporting Navigation Change
As a result of the UI upgrade, we have changed where the location of the User reports within DET. These are now accessible underneath the results page under 'Exports.' To access the reporting filters please just click the 'Exports' button at the bottom of the page and you will be able to extract your responses and notes reports.
